Cookies with a Cause: When we think about all the folks who have helped us become who we are, we know that giving back is important. Here at Immaculate, we want to inspire creativity in ourselves and others by donating art supplies, offering folk art workshops, and even holding giant bake sales for creative-minded nonprofits. In fact, our biggest fundraiser also set the Guinness record for baking the worlds largest cookie. At 102 feet in diameter, sales of the cookie raised money - and awareness - for the Folk Art Foundation. We continue to bake up oversized cookies as fundraisers, but nowadays we keep them in the 10 foot range. Church going Lady, Mose Tolliver (1915 - 2006). Mose T, a lifelong Alabama resident, began painting in his mid-50s after suffering a crippling accident at work. Extremely prolific, Mose T is admired for portraits he painted on Masonite, in highly sophisticated hues using ordinary housepaint. Mose T was once a guest at the Reagan White House while in Washington DC for a show of his work at the highly prestigious Corcoran Gallery of Art. Certified organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers.
